Day 04/100 - Softening Into Today

I think I get it now…

It took me some time to circle back here but I think I figured it out

Things aren’t as complex as they seem to be

And if there is one thing

I’m letting sink in deep

Right now it’s the idea of simplicity

My Balinese brother once said to me

“Do not make this life more harder, this life is already hard” and even through his broken English I understood

So at this point I’m done with listening to the voices in my head that tell me “I should”

And letting my heart lead the way

Believing that there’s productivity in play

Proving myself it was worth it to stay

And softening into today
